Can you pick any scoped rifle off your shelf and be confident in your first shot? I took my #m14 rifle, or #m1arifle , with a 26x scope off my shelf and tried to hit something at 100 paces. I wasn't very confident. These big bore rifles don't hold zero well. They shake too much. That's why hunters resight their rifle every time they hunt. No confidence the zero held.. #308rifle
