Is Manchester worth visiting?

A few weeks ago I travelled to Manchester for the first time. I could only spend 19 hours in the city of bees, so I tried to make the most out of my time there. Watch this video to discover my Manchester must see places.

Here are some of my recommendations for one day in Manchester.

WHAT TO SEE IN MANCHESTER :
The Old Wellington, an English pub located in a beautifully preserved building from the 1500s.
Manchester Cathedral, an imposing gothic church that adds to Manchester’s charm.
The John Rylands Research Institute and Library. A library? Ain’t that boring? Not really, since you will suddenly feel like you entered a homely, charming place… Hogwarts! The John Roland’s library was supposedly used as inspiration for Harry Potter’s setting and is a must see place in Manchester. Also, the entry is free!
Manchester Canals. Wander around Manchester’s canals to feel the city’s industrial soul. The area was converted into a residential neighbourhood but the industrial charm is still intact.This was my personal favourite part of the trip.

WHERE TO EAT IN MANCHESTER :
Nando’s. I love this place and I eat there every time I visit the UK. If you’ve never tried it you definitely should!
Arndale Market food courts. I loved the variety of food they served, the prices were really convenient.
Federal Cafe Bar for coffee and breakfast.

Other things I loved in Manchester : the weather that was very kind to me, the talented street artists singing and playing music, the food scene.
