In this new episode of "One Month, One Lab", join Jean-François Caron, a researcher at the Navier Laboratory, as he explores the European LIAISON project (https://liaison-transport.eu/), which aims to reduce the environmental impact of infrastructure.
The team is working on the design of optimized reinforced concrete beams that are lighter and more material-efficient, thanks to digital modeling and 3D concrete printing.
With up to 50% less concrete, these innovations pave the way for more sustainable and circular construction, already tested on Grand Paris construction sites and on a demonstration footbridge in Poland.
