This new tune is called Dun Pony, in honor of my horse, Indy. He is a Tennessee Walking horse of a gorgeous dun coloring. The sections of this tune represent his gaits: running walk, canter, slow walk. He's such a joy, and I'm crazy about him, so I had to write a tune for him! I'm playing melodies on all three strings and utilizing many techniques in this tune, so I'm learning! Musicians never stop learning, right? 🙂
I'm playing my 1994 Folk Roots dulcimer, and since I'm doing a lot of sliding, I'm wearing my guitarist's glove. I hope you enjoy the tune!
