my first wave surfing trip to Maldives
I stayed with my wife at KANI clubmed where the "Ninja's" spot is by walking distance and is part of the island , so you can go there any time you want which was great... no dependency in boats
I had amazing surf conditions during the entire week I was there
need to be advanced surfer in order to enjoy Maldives ... it's tough
surfer should have good paddling capability, good duck dive technic
I still have to do a long way in order to get the best of the Maldives action
surfed a 5.11 board of 30 liter which did a good work for me
I am 182 cm and 74 kg
I used booties most of the sessions since going out from Ninja's beach to the spot is tough and sea has corals and stones, and a strong current which throws you away all the time
when going with a boat to other beaches, no booties are required
I also surfed in this trip "Chickens" left wave and "Sultans" right wave
Sultans wave was really amazing but spot was very crowded when I was there (~100 surfers I estimate, it was Sunday afternoon session)
the wave there are really amazing and for sure I will go back again and again ....
