Building advance page commenting feature with SPFx

📺 Learn how to build an advanced page commenting feature with SPFx! This demo showcases how to enhance collaboration in SharePoint by implementing a custom commenting experience using SPFx.

This session covered upgrading the advanced comment box web part as part of the refresh Rangers initiative. the web part allows users to add, edit, reply to, and like comments, attach files, and preview documents, all stored in SharePoint lists. the upgrade process involved updating the SharePoint framework version from 1.17 to 1.20 using Microsoft 365 CLI, along with minor manual updates. updating the sample’s metadata for the gallery website was also necessary.
