The golf swing is basically invisible.

All we ever see are the effects.

A lot of golf development happens at the “effects layer,” which is why it so often fails.

The key is to go to the roots of what you do.

In old-school golf, it’s all about the intentions in the club, which then lead to different behaviors in the body.
I leave space for momentum to make the club work properly — allowing it to create the desired effects on my body without me having to force it.

This is the secret to effortless golf.

Work in the inner layer, and you can truly make things happen.
Work only in the observable effects, and it only works for a short time.
