Raspberry Jam Heart Cookies
Ingredients:
65 g soft butter
50 g sugar
1 egg
125 g flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
raspberry jam
powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
Beat soft butter with sugar until creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla, mix well.
Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt, then knead into a soft dough.
Shape the dough into a log and cut it into pieces.
Roll each piece into a ball and gently flatten it with a glass.
Use the end of a fork to make a small heart in the center.
Fill the heart with raspberry jam.
Bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for about 12 minutes, until golden.
Let cool and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
