Reports of shots fired at feast 9:21PM, near Main St.
One person suffered a gun shot in front of St Mary's Church.
3 shots were fired. One suspect reportedly fled south on Main St in a grey Chevy. One victim transported to SLH with a gun shot wound 9:36PM.
UPDATE: 3 in custody, one with a firearm Alden Rd in front of Alden Court. 9:41PM. Mutual aid included Mattapoisett - Acushnet - New Bedford and Rochester.
(*Note - A major crash incident was also in progress at the same time, at 305 Huttleston Ave. Three were transported to SLH. A dog was also injured in the crash.)

OFFICIAL FAIRHAVEN POLICE DEPT STATEMENT -
The Fairhaven Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Sunday night.
At about 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, Fairhaven Police received a report of a shooting near the intersection of Main Street and Harding Road. Upon arrival, police found one victim, who had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.
Fairhaven Police have detained three people in connection with the investigation. State Police attached to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office are also participating in the investigation.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Fairhaven Police at 508-997-7421..
