I've always found theme park sound systems interesting. Theme parks are all about immersion and escaping reality and the use of audio can play a huge part in the experience. While visiting Adventure World in Perth, Western Australia, I was impressed with the park's efforts in developing fitting soundtracks for each of the themed areas. So I decided to document the set-ups in this video as an example of how audio can add another dimension to a themed environment. The entire system is comprised of JBL Control 25 and Control 30 speakers (even those disguised as rocks). Yes I probably look stupid filming speakers in a busy public place. Who the heck goes to a theme park and films speakers? Me apparently!
