How To Pattern and Re-Wrap Door Panel Inserts In Vinyl - LeatherSeats.com

Our leather-trimmed seat upholstery kits are all built to order and come pre-sewn and ready to install. They are designed to be installed by customizers or a professional upholstery shop in your area. With many of our upholstery kits, we offer extra matching vinyl material for the door panels/inserts. Installing this material can be difficult so we made this Tech Guide video to show you how we pattern and install door panel inserts on a 2004-2007 Toyota Highlander. Most of the steps that you see in this video are universal concepts that can be used for other vehicles as well.

Installing this Highlander kit is an advanced project that will require basic hand tools, hog rings, hog ring pliers, upholstery spray glue, a pneumatic upholstery stapler, and optionally an upholstery or clothing steamer for optimal fitment. In this specific door panel application, you will also want to have some rivets on hand to re-attach the window seal after the installation.
