We thank Matt Dinelli from Attitude Performance Vehicles for this interview and insight into his Jeep build, the General. Boasting an all aluminium constructed body, Dana 60 axles, Atlas 2 transfer case, Fox 2.5" coilovers, long arm suspension, and a variety of LS engine options. Bringing the classic flat fender into the modern era.

Everyone loves a classic, especially an off-road classic. Unfortunately with classic open top off-roaders, they were built to be compact and mobile for military and transportation. The General fixes this issue by offering a larger vehicle by over 20% making it feel just like a new vehicle with the larger space, giving ample leg and shoulder room for you and your passengers.

With something that needs to be a serious and competent on and off-road vehicle, the suspension is at the very top of the list of importance. With a 4 link and track bar setup this allows for the most articulation while being extremely predictable and smooth for on-road driving, we took countless hours deciding on the best choice.

With the interior, we were looking to modernize it just enough to keep the classic look. We kept the general placement of gauges while adding a Tachometer. Along with some modern creature comforts like a backup camera, heated seats, CarPlay, and a switch panel to have control of your accessories at your fingertips.
