After the heavy rains that introduced autumn, the packraft season on the Ardens rivers is already open. I make a short day run on the Ourthe river to make a last test of some new gear for my upcoming expedition in New Zealand. I'm enjoying the sun, the autumn colours in full bloom and the birds singing on this indian summer day.
