At Magic Kingdom, the Jungle Cruise will be closing for refurbishment starting August 26th, with a reopening expected before the Winter Holidays. Peter Pan's Flight is also undergoing a 6-week refurbishment and is set to reopen on August 21st. Music from the new Country Bear Musical Jamboree will be available to stream starting July 17th.
Over at Epcot, preparations for the Food and Wine Festival are underway, with new temporary food booths being installed ahead of the festival's opening on August 29th.
In international news, Oriental Land Company and Disney have announced a partnership to create a new cruise ship based out of Japan, similar in style to the Disney Wish, and expected to begin operating in early 2029.
Additionally, updates about this year's D23 Expo have been shared, including the Keynote Presentation named Horizons, scheduled for August 10th. The Expo will feature various events such as 30 Years of Toy Story, Jolly Holiday: A Celebration of Richard Sherman, Donald Duck’s 90th Quacktackular, Disney Animation in the Parks, a retrospective on 70 years of The Muppets, and panels on Marvel, Star Wars, Disney Plus, and A Goofy Movie.
