In this episode, I take an old 7.5" deck, trucks I'm not using, elderly longboard wheels, and some not-quite-thrashed bearings to make a penny board mini cruiser. The only things I bought were super hard Indy bushings (not required, for you maybe), mounting hardware since I didn't have any, and new grip tape. Cost me about $22 bucks. You might be able to do it for less.
Best of luck on your project. And if you have any questions, just ask.
Thanks for watching,

ABOUT ME: I'm 51 and I haven't skated since I was 15. I'm getting back on the board--boards, technically. I'm an English professor by trade, but I'm also a serial hobbyist who always wants to learn something new or get back into things I did as a kid. I restore old Volkswagens, I have a black belt in San Soo, I build and play electric guitars, I coach lacrosse, and ..., and .... When I do projects, I assume risks. If you do projects, you are also assuming risks. My results will not necessarily be your results. If you cut off a finger or doing any other damage to yourself, that ain't on me.
