My take on the lyrics for Slick Moves.

It 'twas a difficult and arduous journey, figuring out how to write lyrics for this song. The vocals all come quickly, immediately, with a barrage of syllables, and it was difficult to think of a theme to base the lyrics off of.

'Slick Moves' sounds to refer to dancing, but to dance is such a vast and ambiguous topic to base a song off of that there felt like no true baseline to jump off of.

And then, suddenly, the answer came to me, like an angel.
