Official Report Confirms Deaths Due to Contaminated Water in Indore

A government report has now officially confirmed that contaminated water caused the recent deaths and illnesses in Indore’s Bhagirathpura. Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Madhav Hasani stated that the Health Department received the analysis report today from the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College laboratory.

The report clearly confirms that people fell ill and lost their lives solely due to the consumption of contaminated water. It is reported that in Bhagirathpura—located within India’s cleanest city, Indore—14 people have died so far from drinking polluted water, while approximately 1,400 people have suffered from infections.

इंदौर के भागीरथपुरा में दूषित पानी से मौतों और बीमारियों पर अब सरकारी रिपोर्ट की मुहर भी लग गई है। सीएमएचओ डॉ. माधव हसानी ने कहा- महात्मा गांधी मेमोरियल मेडिकल कॉलेज की लैब में जांचे गए पानी के नमूनों की रिपोर्ट आज स्वास्थ्य विभाग को मिल गई है। इसमें साफ तौर पर पुष्टि हुई है कि दूषित पानी पीने से ही लोग बीमार पड़े और उनकी जान गई। बता दें कि देश के सबसे स्वच्छ शहर इंदौर के भागीरथपुरा में दूषित पानी पीने से अब तक 14 लोगों की मौत की जानकारी मिली है। वहीं, करीब 1400 लोग इन्फेक्शन के शिकार हुए हैं। देखिये रिपोर्ट।
