What to wear to a funeral or a memorial service in Western culture. It doesn’t have to be all black, but it should be somber. I go over specific situations, such as religious funerals or military funerals and give guidelines as to what might be appropriate to wear. These same guidelines make sense if you're attending the reading of a will, spreading of ashes, or a wake.
