The Tamiya Blitzer Beetle Getting Started & Step 1 to 5

Welcome to my channel and thank you for taking the time to view this video.

I would like to thank the fabulous RC Elf for donating this great model to my channel and personal collection. A personal big thank you from me, I really appreciate the support and generous gift.

This is the getting started and steps 1 to 5 of the building of this wonderful Tamiya Blitzer Beetle.

You will find that I use a friction reducer oil for my steel bearings, which I find makes a difference to the rolling resistance of the car. This is a three step procedure of first making sure the bearings are clean, I then place them is a spare heat proof glass container with Team ZX1 friction reducer oil and place over simmering hot water to enable the ZX1 oil, to molecular bond to the steel bearings, then leave to cool and then place them in a tub with light oil to keep them clean and ready for installation.
