Arrow isn’t just any dog—he’s a highly trained seizure alert service dog who helps his mom stay safe and independent. With his incredible ability to detect seizures before they happen, Arrow gives his mom time to prepare, preventing dangerous falls and injuries. But his job doesn’t stop there—he also assists with recovery by bringing essential items like medication and water.
Unlike therapy dogs, who provide comfort to many people, service dogs like Arrow are trained to work with one person, performing life-changing tasks that support their independence. Thanks to years of specialized training, Arrow knows how to stay focused in public, ensuring his mom can go about her daily life safely.
Service dogs play a vital role in the lives of people with disabilities, and their access rights are protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act. While Arrow’s job is serious, he still gets plenty of love, care, and playtime to keep him happy and healthy.
Watch to learn more about the incredible work service dogs do!
