What Happens Right Before Someone Dies?

How do you know when someone is truly days away from death? I walk families through this every day, and there are real, consistent signs your loved one’s body gives when it’s close. In this video, I explain the changes I see most often: fevers, unconsciousness, no eating or drinking, modeling of the skin, changes in breathing, agonal breaths, and the sound people call the “death rattle.” These moments can be confusing and frightening, so I show you exactly what they look like, why they happen, and what they mean. My goal is to help you understand what’s normal, what’s not, and why these signs do not mean your loved one is suffering.
