Believing in myself~

I fell in love with this song the moment I heard it and I’m so happy I was finally able to cover it. I think this song probably singlehandedly brought Kasumi from one of my least favourite Nijigaku girls to my second favourite - this song adds a whole new dimension to her character and I love it!!

You may have noticed that I changed the lyrics in the chorus from ‘Girl in the mirror’ to ‘Me in the mirror’ - this was to remove gendered terms from my cover, but if you want to use my lyrics and prefer the original phrasing then you’re welcome to change it ^^

On a final note, this cover was meant to be released last week, however I ran out of time on Saturday so I ended up with an extra week to work on the mix and I’m really happy I did! I’m so happy with how this mix came out and it just goes to show that putting more time and effort into something makes for a better end product XD
