This was recorded in Tokyo, Japan on 1/10/1984.
"Stay the Night" was the first single from the hugely successful 'Chicago 17' album. It was written by Peter Cetera & David Foster. The music video for this song remains a very popular request on VH-1 Classic. The song is dated, but it hasn't died. Obviously, people still love this song... or the video.
Either way, this is a rare glimpse at the band performing this song with Peter Cetera. He left the band after the 'Chicago 17' Tour.
This song was a part of Chicago's setlist through 1994. It resurfaced, briefly, a couple of years ago.
