NHS Kent & Medway Primary Care Digital Transformation Programme: Impact of Leading Change and Adding Value.
Dr Mayur Vibhuti, GP Associate Dean Lead for the Kent and Medway Primary Care Training Hub and Clinical Lead for NHS Kent and Medway ICB has recently led a digital transformation programme for the primary care workforce in Kent and Medway. The programme was started to empower the primary care workforce and supply them with the tools and knowledge they need to improve the way they work, digitally. Delegates worked with each other, universities, and digital experts to plan work-based, innovative projects and at the same time, enhance their own leadership, digital and improvement skills, making a positive change to primary care. Projects included: Working towards an ‘E-Hub’ and improving monitoring of care homes. In a survey at the end of the programme, 100% of delegates grew in confidence and felt they were fully competent to lead and deliver innovation projects in the future.
