Yamamuro was one of the most loved animators in the Dragon Ball franchise, due to how dynamic his storyboards and fight coreograhy was and due to his corrections, being one of the most recognizable Animation Directors under Shindo Productions.
He was the Co-Character Designer of the Buu Arc and went on character designing most of Dragon Ball's movies.
When One Piece started, he was hired as an Animation Director from episode 25 to 65, in most of his episodes, he would be the top KA, almost solo animating them entirely.
Yamamuro's designs would develop a lot from the 80's, almost making him a shadow of his old era that lead to a lot of criticism from Sakuga fans around the world.

He's still the Designer and Storyboarder of every episode of Dragon Ball Super Heroes and he still his the designer under lots of Promo Arts and Games.
