Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 | Part 16: The Finale

Welcome back. One final flashback with Fabien to tie up the loose ends. Did anyone else suspect him? I’ll admit, there were a few times I wondered if he was the one who marked us, but it turns out, he sacrificed himself. Guess there was one “good” guy after all. Saying goodbye was a little bittersweet, but we did what had to be done.

Then it was up to the roof of Weaver Tower for one last showdown. I went in confident. Maybe too confident. Let’s just say I spared you all the times I got absolutely wrecked. It only took me until the end of the game to really master those abilities…and yeah, I wish I’d unlocked a few more.

Alas, we landed the Anarch ending, which honestly felt like the right one. At least Lou isn’t in charge anymore.

Final Thoughts:
Character creation? Weak. Very limited options. No body types, skin tones, few hairstyles, barely any customization. The clan abilities were fun, but side quests got repetitive fast. I'm not a completionist by any means so all of the cameras and cross collections stuff...not for me. No inventory (aside from the 4 elixirs) just felt kind of cheap. And come on, I’m the sheriff. Why am I still sleeping in a ratty apartment with a dead cat? Give me a room at Weaver Tower or a storage room at The Dutchman at least!?

BUT the storyline did all of the heavy lifting for me. Fabien’s flirty inanimate object convos? Hilarious. Tolly’s snark? Perfection. Lou’s evil energy? Chef’s kiss. The twist with Safia? Didn’t see it coming. Was it worth the price tag? Maybe not. But was I entertained? Absolutely. Were you?
