令和7年4月19日に滋賀県安土の沙沙貴神社でまつりがありました。沙沙貴神社は、全国の佐佐木さん、佐佐木源氏の氏神として広く崇拝されている神社です。沙沙貴まつりの宵宮祭では「大松明」を金刀比羅神社前から沙沙貴神社まで引き奉火します。
This video shows scenes from the Sasaki (Yoimiya) Festival, which was held in Azuchi Town, Shiga Prefecture on April 19, 2025. A giant torch(Ō-taimatsu), made of reeds, was paraded through the streets of Azuchi. The climax of the event is the burning of the torch within the grounds of Sasaki Shrine, an ancient shrine that was founded to enshrine the guardian deity of the Sasaki clan.
