Decicoat P60™ - Intumescent Coating Product Tour

Decicoat P60 is a water-based spray-on intumescent coating specially formulated for application on metal structures to provide fire protection. The product is designed to be installed in industries such as rail, offshore, marine, and automotive.

Pyrotek engineered Decicoat P60 is an independent thermal solution for exposed metal or to complement other fireproofing materials. When applied, it extends the time that the substrate maintains structural integrity, as Decicoat P60 offers passive fire protection.

Decicoat P60 will intumesce in response to fire and limit thermal transfer by effectively insulating the surface temperature of the component. It does this by extending its volume up to 100 times, creating a thermally insulating barrier. It allows the substrate to maintain structural strength for longer when exposed to fire, providing more time to escape during an evacuation.
Decicoat P60 bonds flush with substrates even around uneven surfaces.

Unlike traditional insulation materials such as glass wool or mineral fibre, Decicoat P60 spray-on solution provides a quick and easy seamless application. It is fibre-free offering 100% coverage and reduces heat transfer through materials.
