This 7-acre runs water is paired with a unique lodge built directly over the lake, giving you a true “bivvy on the water” experience… only with a touch of luxury. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around the main living area, offering almost 360° views over the island and surrounding woodland.

Puy Follet is ideal for families discovering carp fishing in France or as a first cross-Channel carp trip. The stock is built for consistent sport: an average around 20 lb, with carp going over 50 lb. You’ll find commons and mirrors, grass carp to 35 lb, plus a few sturgeon to 35 lb and catfish to 25 lb. Recent stockings of around fifty carp between 20–50 lb keep the bites coming, with very little nuisance fish other than the odd summer crayfish.
