H.P. Lovecraft's The Shadow over Innsmouth

Hello Folks! I hope that y’all are having a delightfully frightful October day today!

Happy October. Ready to ship up the second story set in my Cthulhu October? Well, alright then. Let’s look at The Shadow Over Innsmouth, written by H.P. Lovecraft in 1931. We are doing this every other day throughout October and knocking out another short story in the Mythos every other day.

I consider this to be my favorite Mythos story by Lovecraft. It’s just so well done! Lovecraft hist all of the main things he cares about here – loathing of the sea, the massive indifference of exitance, the importance of bloodlines, and more!
