❄️Winter Carp Fishing❄️

After watching the lakes freeze over everywhere on the lead up to my session, I was determined to find some wobbly water.
2 weeks off from fishing over Christmas, with a lean period of blanks at the end of last year made the urge to get out on the bank even stronger, I asked around and searched some lakes that I fish and finally found the wobbly water i was looking for.
I checked the lake the day before my session and it was ice free, however that night it froze over, luckily on my return the following afternoon i found it to be thawed again and I was able to fish.


This can be a tricky water and is the more difficult of the 2 Pits, however in the past it has had a bit of Winter form and with some nice size fish in their Winter clothes, who voild resist
It has some beautiful Big Carp in here reaching 40lb plus.
Being clear water, the Carp have lovely colouring, there’s also a great variety of Carp to fish for.

I fish some INTERESTING VENUES with some nice fish and spend a reasonable amount of time on the bank on Short to Medium Campaigns.

📹 Filming videos is a relatively new hobby to me and the editing gives me something to do in my spare time when off and on the bank.
