Steam returns to the Walkersville Southern Railroad of Walkersville, Maryland. Beginning operations in 1991, this tourist operation runs on four miles of former Pennsylvania Railroad line towards Frederick. This all volunteer railroad has made considerable efforts over the years, having rebuilt the line south across the Monocacy River, and has even rebuilt trackage north.
Jeddo Coal Company 0-4-0T 85 makes its first post-pandemic runs for three weekends of trips. This Vulcan tank engine is one of several engines operated by the Gramlings, and is trucked to various tourist railroads around the country for specials and events. The 85 put on a great show on the railroad's regular tourist trains as well as a special photo freight to commemorate the Walkersville Southern's 30th anniversary.
