Nigel Farage said he is “coming for” Kemi Badenoch’s North West Essex constituency and that Reform UK’s “gloves are off”.
Mr Farage also said he draws “great inspiration” from the election of Donald Trump as US president.
Mr Farage told his supporters on Friday the Conservative Party leader had “chosen not to take the opportunity” to apologise, after she claimed on social media that Reform UK’s online membership counter was “a fake, coded to tick up automatically”.
Former Conservative Party MP Marco Longhi has said he feels “at home” in Reform UK.
Taking a break from his speech at the Reform UK East Midlands Conference in Leicester, party leader Nigel Farage introduced Mr Longhi to the stage as “a loyal member of the Conservative Party for the last goodness knows how many years”.
