Corbeau Seat Installation & First Impressions | Honda Civic Project

Corbeau? More like Cor-woah! AM I RIGHT?! In today's video, the Honda Civic Project gets a HUGE seat upgrade with the Corbeau RRX Sportline Seats. I show you how to install these seats in a Honda Civic and give you my first driving impressions! Let's GO!

In my previous video, I unboxed these beauties and gave you guys an in-depth look at these aftermarket seats. After touching them for far too long, it's time to get them installed. Generally, 90's Hondas are extremely easy to swap seats into with the right brackets. Fabbing up seat brackets is tricky with a lot to risk if not done right. Fortunately, I got the specified seat brackets for my car to make it as easy as pie. This is a direct plug and play setup WITH a spot for the seat belt buckle. So you can utilize your normal OEM seat belt, or install an aftermarket harness.

Installing the aftermarket seats into the Civic took no more than an hour with time to spare to vacuum things up. Remember to use loctite on any screw that is used to install the seat! I found that these seats are a PERFECT fit into an Ek Honda Civic with the ability to run the OEM armrest. YES! The door cards clear by a few inches and these are obviously reclinable to nap in.

So what do I think? These are hands down one of my favorite mods for the Civic so far. I would say it's a tie between these and the S2000 steering wheel. These absolutely change the driving experience and offer a MUCH more planted feel in the turns. These seats sit roughly 2-3 inches lower than the oem seats and have extremely aggressive thigh bolsters. Getting in and out of the car is a bit of a process, but worth it once you're in! For reference, I'm 6"1 with plenty of head room but I DO have the sliders maxed out to the furthest position. If you're taller than me, you may need to modify the brackets. Overall, the build quality, the comfort, and the experience is fantastic.
