Why is (international) DATING in JAPAN so tricky??
Eric Margolis is a journalist living in Japan and writing for some of the most eminent publications out there. A couple of years ago he wrote a series of articles for Japan Times, exploring the tricky dating dynamics in Japan. He interviewed a dozen people, trying to find answers to the questions such as:
Why are there more foreign men with Japanese women than vice versa?
Are the so-called "gaijin hunters" and "yellow fever" dynamics at play when it comes to international couples in Japan?
