Uniting the Best in Dent Repair: PDR & GPR International Competition Showcases Global Talent and Glue Pulling Innovation in Montreal
From July 11 to 13, 2025, Canada, became the global hub for paintless dent repair (PDR) and glue pull repair (GPR) excellence, hosting the highly anticipated PDR & GPR International Competition. Organized in collaboration with Camauto Pro and proudly sponsored by Anson PDR, the event brought together ten of the world’s top dent removal professionals to compete in a one-of-a-kind skills showcase.
The competitors, selected through international public voting, represented a wide range of countries and dent repair techniques:

4. Miroslav Hubenko (Ukraine)
5. Oleksandr Doronin (Quebec)
6. Pak Narlin (Canada)
7. Pablo Rocha (Mexico)

9. Wei Wu (China)
10. Zeeshan Anjam (Germany)
The competition was judged by four leading figures in the PDR industry: Arilson Guedes (Brazil), Charles Aoun (Canada, founder of Camauto Pro), Ken Clark (USA), and Craig Dyer (USA, owner of Anson PDR).
Live Tool Demonstrations and Innovation in Glue Pulling Systems
The event kicked off with live dent repair demonstrations featuring Camauto’s glue pull repair systems, weld-on tabs, dent pulling kits, and cutting-edge PDR tools. Technicians and attendees had the opportunity to test new products, ask questions, and get hands-on experience with some of the most advanced GPR tools and accessories in the industry.
From heavy-duty glue tabs to precision pullers, the demonstrations emphasized technique, tool quality, and repair efficiency—core values in modern dent repair.
Each competitor was randomly assigned a dent to repair after inspection and tool preparation. These tasks pushed their skills to the limit, especially in using non-invasive repair methods like glue pulling to achieve high-quality finishes without repainting.
A Competition Fueled by Skill, Passion, and Camaraderie
Saturday and Sunday were dedicated to competition. Repairs began at 10:00 a.m., and spectators could observe various approaches to complex dent repairs—from traditional paintless dent repair to advanced glue pull systems.
Camauto Pro’s CBH 300 system, hybrid knockdown tools, and slide hammers were among the tools showcased by many competitors. Each technician had one goal: deliver the cleanest, most seamless dent repair using the tools and strategies of their trade.
Once repairs concluded, judges evaluated each panel based on criteria like finish quality, technique, and tool efficiency. Results were kept sealed until the grand Gala Dinner, where winners were announced.
Honoring Excellence in the Dent Repair Industry
Miroslav Hubenko from Ukraine took home 1st place, with Menfis Hurachi from Brazil earning 2nd place. All participants were recognized with certificates of participation and exclusive gift packages from Camauto, including premium GPR accessories and glue pull repair kits.
The competition was more than a contest—it was a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and global unity within the PDR & GPR community. As dent repair continues to evolve, events like this drive the industry forward, introducing new tools, sharing best practices, and honoring those who push the boundaries of excellence.
