Um Jammer Lammy NOW! • 4K Arcade Cutscenes & Attract Sequence

This is the full boot & attract sequence loop (the stuff that runs when the game isn’t being played) for the 1999 Um Jammer Lammy NOW arcade machine! Clips are a combination of live footage and upscaled/filtered videos direct from the arcade CD image. Cutscene captions were recreated from the arcade subtitles, modded into the Playstation version, and overlaid a capture onto these clips (preserving typos).

Most of this footage has been virtually unseen since the game became lost media, and there's over 15 minutes of new content! High-quality gameplay is next.

High score & gameplay demos are low-quality but also brief. That footage was recorded when we first arrived (before I knew the game had a 28-minute attract loop) at a distance without a tripod or optimal settings and couldn't be re-recorded before we had to leave—we instead chose to spend our limited time recording more gameplay footage, which you'll see in the next videos!

Note: We're still coordinating the game ROM dumps, so no one aside from Jonathan Ross has a playable version of this game yet. This all of the content on the arcade CD aside from the audio files (which do have a lot of Joe Chin clips, but it's not worth doing another video over). Still, the arcade CD will be released shortly.
