The 'Dirranbandi Mail' was Australia's very last such train, though it was more a 'mixed' than a 'mail' train for some time prior to it's demise in February 1993.
It commenced in Brisbane and ran the 668 km to Dirranbandi two days per week for much of its life.
So pleased to have had the opportunity to experience such amazing times out on trains such as this and the Forsayth mixed as well as videoing and photographing the Yaraka mixed, all long gone.
This a digital edit from original camera tapes, portions of which were previously included in an older VHS edit.
