Welcome to the official YouTube channel for "A Rule of Nature".
This album begins with one fundamental question: Beyond the 'oxymoron of rewarded kindness,' what is the nature of true giving, which lies deep within human nature?
A Rule of Nature is a 10-song journey arguing that 'living for others' is not a mere moral obligation, but the most natural law of the universe, just as a river flows or a flower blooms. The album opens with a tribute to anonymous creators (Unnamed Creators) and moves through the insights of Einstein and Chaplin to arrive at the stirring declaration that 'we want to live by each other’s happiness' (By Each Other's Happiness).
The title track, A Rule of Nature (Track 6), confirms that this giving is a law of nature. The album's second half then demonstrates how this sublime law is proven most heroically in the mundane (The Street Sweeper's Song) and in the most desperate poverty (The Greatest Proof). Ultimately, the entire journey converges on the simple truth of 'kindness' (My Religion is Kindness). The final track, First the Kingdom, concludes the album with a profound resonance and peaceful blessing: that in the tangible practice of love and justice for our neighbors, all of life's needs are naturally fulfilled.
Weaving through folk, soul, and cinematic ambient sounds, this album leads the listener to realize that 'giving' is, in fact, the most certain path to one's own salvation and happiness.
*A Note on Its Creation: This album is the result of a unique creative trinity: human direction, conceptual AI, and musical AI.

[00:00} 1. The Oxymoron
A dark, questioning opener that explores the contradiction of "good deeds" done while expecting a reward, asking if kindness is still pure when we are "counting the rain."
[03:04} 2. Unnamed Creators
A soulful tribute to the anonymous artists, bloggers, and creators (like those on Pexels) who share their work without expecting payment or credit, forming the silent bedrock of new creation.
[06:13} 3. Cast Your Bread on the Water
A flowing, poetic track about the pure act of giving for its own sake—a "quiet revolt" against the need for results, likening it to a poem written on the tide.
[09:48} 4. We Exist for Other People
An intimate and building folk song exploring Einstein’s profound realization: we are not isolated islands, but are deeply interconnected, finding our own happiness in the smiles and well-being of others.
[13:50} 5. By Each Other's Happiness
An energetic folk-rock anthem inspired by Charlie Chaplin, serving as a passionate call to action to live by each other’s joy, not our misery, and to actively build a kinder world.
[16:43} 6. A Rule of Nature (Title Track)
The album's centerpiece. A classic storytelling track using metaphors of the river, the tree, and the sun to illustrate the album's core theme: "living for others is a rule of nature."
[19:59} 7. The Street Sweeper's Song
A dignified folk "work song," sung from the perspective of a street sweeper, that finds profound nobility and purpose in everyday labor done with love and dedication, inspired by MLK.
[23:24} 8. The Greatest Proof
The dramatic, cinematic climax of the album. It confronts the paradox that the "greatest proof" of the human soul is found in its most sublime moment: giving to others even when you have nothing left for yourself.
[27:22} 9. My Religion is Kindness
A warm, peaceful piano ballad that distills the album's complex themes into one simple, powerful truth from the Dalai Lama: the surest path to happiness for both others and ourselves is to practice compassion.
[30:54} 10. First the Kingdom
A lush, cinematic finale that redefines "seeking the Kingdom" not as a place, but as the daily practice of justice and kindness. It's a final, hopeful promise that when we build a world for others, all our needs are met as a natural blessing, like "dew upon the ground."
