It has been a year since I wrapped the #Widefox. I initially wrapped this hood just to do something different and to frankly get people to stop in their tracks when they see it in person. It became known as the "Hater Hood" because people either loved it or hated it. The initial plan was to only run the hood graphic for 1 year. It was done in late July / early August 2018, and that 1 year has come. It was time to change the hood graphic to start the phase of Widefox v2.0, which will have a darker theme (demon red eye headlights, etc.).
This video covers the removal of the hood graphic vinyl wrap, plus the cowl panel. Sanding of damaged paint to 1,500 grit, and then recovering the hood and cowl panel in Avery Dennison Satin Urban Jungle vinyl wrap. The hood now matches the rest of the car.
