I'm from North-East Arnhem Land, a little town called Yirrkala. So when I explain it to people I make them imagine the Northern Territory as a rectangle. And I tell them to imagine Darwin as the top left corner and Yirrkala is the top right corner. The Indigenous people here are Yolngu. And I am Yolngu, my mother is Yolngu and we speak Yolŋu Matha.
