For this video I thought I'd try and experiment with the double thumbing technique on slap bass! I was blown away by a video by Scott's Bass Lessons featuring Ian Allison's bass line from Corey Wong's tune "My Passport Photo". I wanted to give this instrumental bass tune a real nice funky feel so I tracked some guitar on my Fender Strat and added a few funky Synth lead lines to get that vibe and then open up to a B section with more of a padded sound and fingerstyle bass line.
