Palak Kohli with an under-grown hand went on to become a World sports personality by representing India at Paralympics. An extraordinary journey of grit, determination and passion. She strongly believes in the power of a Coach to nurture and live one's full potential. In her view, when the universe gives you disability, it also gives you a super ability. However, one needs a nurturer to help you discover the super ability in you.
'I don't like when people sympathise with me.' Says the Wonder Girl Palak Kohli, India’s para badminton star from Jalandhar, who has made history by becoming the youngest para badminton player in the world to qualify for Tokyo Paralympics 2021 in 3 events. She has won medals both at the National and International Para Badminton championship. At the recently concluded Uganda Para Badminton International she won 2 Gold and 1 Silver medals. She is truly a champion and a Youth icon. When this 18-year-old says with conviction that she has the “determination and hard work” required for the sport and to fulfil her dreams, we all need to see it and experience the passion that flows from every word she speaks!
