50km Week, Long Run in Zvishavane & Speed Work | Week 13 Marathon Training

This week I hit my 50 km goal with a mix of easy runs, speed work, and an adventurous long run in Zvishavane. I ran a brand new route starting at 5:30 AM — part road, part off-road — using Google Maps to find my way. It was a mix of nerves, hills, and good vibes.
I also tested out a running gel mid-run and threw in a midweek walk for recovery. Plus, it was great being home with family — we even visited the farm, did a little braai, and made some memories.
🔥 4 weeks and 6 days to go until the Absa Marathon. Let’s finish this strong.
