Three ways to ensure equitable quality education for all learners in the classroom

In this workshop, after eliciting a few gender-neutral job descriptions, the speakers highlighted how the National Education Policy 2020 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 5 emphasise equitable and quality education for all. Sharing some easy-to-adapt activities, lessons, and ideas such as gender-inclusive language and grammar, and equitable teaching practices, the speakers explored a range of ways that will enable and empower teachers to create safe classrooms and schools for learners of all genders. The workshop also suggested ways to educate and engage parents and evolve a new school culture through parents’ coffee mornings and a series of themed projects that incorporate equitable quality education for all genders.
