Seine net fishing, also known as Rapon Fishing, is a centuries-old technique where a long net is pulled slowly from both sides of the shore. Timing, teamwork, and the tide decide everything.
On this day, the ocean delivered beyond expectations. Waves pushed massive schools of fish into the net, turning the shoreline silver. The catch became so heavy that fishermen began collecting fish directly from shallow water, as the net could no longer be lifted fully onto the shore.
This is not industrial fishing — this is community fishing, where every pull is powered by experience and unity. Some of the fish are sold fresh on the beach, while most are sent for processing into fish oil and other products that support local livelihoods.
