Here's an alternative way to tie a lark's head knot using only one side of a string rather than folding it in half like a classic lark's head knot. This technique has many uses in macrame and is a useful trick to have up your sleeve.
You can find all of the materials I used for this tutorial in my fiber supply shop (use YOUTUBE10 at checkout for 10% off). The cord in this video is 3.5mm braided cord in mustard. I also used a medium sized wooden ring and 12" wooden dowels.
