On the second leg of our adventure in the Greek Islands, we took a Blue Star Ferry from Crete to the much smaller island of Karpathos. We spent five days exploring the sights on this beautiful, lightly developed island and got to spend some time with our friend Jimmy's relatives, who still call Karpathos home.
Some of the highlights include:
The Capital and main port city of Pigadia
Our stay at the amazing Konstantinos Palace @konstantinospalacehotel2324
A drive to the isolated town of Olympos
The world famous Apella Beach
Marina's Restaurant in Finiki
The Church tower in Arkasa build by Jimmy's grandfather, Emmanuel Fellouzis
An incredible, traditional Greek dinner at Parthenon Taverna in Arkasa with our host, Nick Lyristis, playing his lyra an singing (the best part of our two weeks in Greece!)
A tour of caves on the "Nemo" glass-bottom boat

Our next stop will be the island or Rhodes (Rodos) for several days, followed by a couple days in Athens.
