An intense survival thriller in the desolation of an extreme winter. An elderly woman, grieving her husband, travels to the lake where they first met to scatter his ashes. However, her journey turns into a nightmare when she witnesses a terrible kidnapping. The victim is a young woman who has been captured by an elderly couple. The motive is gruesome: the wife is gravely ill, and their plan is to perform an illegal liver transplant in a makeshift medical tent on the lake's ice. With no phone signal and her truck stuck in the snow, the grieving woman becomes the young girl's only hope. In a desperate act of courage, she must confront the kidnappers alone and fight to survive. Even if it means performing self-surgery to stay alive and ending up in the same ice hole she dug for her enemy.
