All you need to catch Spring Crappies

Warming water temps in the boat in early spring screams big crappies pushed up shallow. It seems like the further into the trees and flooded structure you can get your float the bigger the crappies. Finding the warmest water with the help of our electronics were key in locating what areas of flooded timber the fish would be in. Slip floats with jigs and plastics were the baits of choice sometimes making 6 casts to get the right one where the fish would eat.
